"After working in a busy corporate environment whilst raising a family, I have an inherent understanding of the
effects of stress both on the body and particularly on the skin. Skin reflects a lot about our health and wellbeing,
I am now in a position to help others feel and therefore look their best without resorting to invasive, expensive

Dr. Patricia Lesley Mottram - Herbal Medicine
I have a Doctor of Philosophy
(PhD) in Medical Biology from the University of Melbourne and worked for many years in research (at Walter and Eliza Hall
Institute, Oxford University UK and Harvard in USA, currently at Burnet Institute, Melbourne), developing new drugs to treat
chronic inflammation and autoimmune diseases, including diabetes and arthritis. I qualified originally as
a microbiologist, with a special interest in herbs, botany and plant pathology. I then worked in laboratories specializing
in microbiology, vaccines and human immunology. I have a great respect for and knowledge of Western science
and medicine, but know that it doesn’t have all the answers to health problems. I believe that a more holistic approach
to health will make Western medicine more effective. I make my own extracts/preparations
and have published on the comparative effects of herbs and drugs. I’ve completed a Graduate Diploma in Health Science
(Herbal Medicine) at the University of New England (NSW) and recently completed an intensive course in Ayurvedic therapy
in Sri Lanka.
